The Garden Taylors
Dry stone terrace

This garden was in need of a makeover after all the house renovations had left it neglected. We created a tall dry stone retaining wall with new patio and lower raised bed for planting.

The area consisted of a terrace outside the sun room
which was constructed from limestone Davy-block.
The "Davey block" wall was covered by new stone.

The terrace before work commenced showing
the gravel/rockery area.
All the plants worthy of saving were removed
to pots or spare ground.

A new raised bed was created ready for planting
by the owners.

A seat was created in the curve of the wall
as this area caught the evening sun.
